Make art and make a difference with this early Thanksgiving holiday drive to collect essential goods for homeless women. Participants will learn to create re-useable bags from recycled t-shirts which will be used to carry the donations to OPCC (Ocean Park Community Center). Admission: $5 for workshop, FREE for SMMoA members and drive donors
Recommended for ages 5 to adult

11am – 5pm, Monday – Saturday

All donated goods will be assembled during the November 7th workshop.

Every donation will receive a complimentary SMMoA bag and FREE entrance to the workshop.

Hair upkeep: Shampoo and/or conditioner
Hair styling tools: Combs, brushes, accessories
Hair styling products: Gel, mousse

FACE
Make-up: Lipstick, mascara, foundation, powder, blush, eye makeup
Make-up tools: brushes, applicators

TEETH
Dental hygiene: Toothbrushes, toothpaste

BODY
Clean: Facial and body soaps and washes
Moisturize: Facial and Body creams and lotions
Skin care: Sunscreen, lip balm
Hands/Feet: Nail Polish with Remover, nail file,
Feminine needs: tampons (super) feminine napkins
Fancy: Perfume and jewelry
Protection: Socks, stockings, slippers, and undergarments

TOILETRIES
Dry: Towels, washcloths and tissues
Carry: Small close-able bags

MISCELLANEOUS PRACTICAL
Sleep: eye masks
Emergencies: First Aid kits, sewing kits, phone cards, bus passes, umbrellas

CREATIVE
Thoughts: Journals, notebooks, pens, art supplies
