About Al Taylor

Acclaimed artist Terry Winters discusses and puts into context the work of Al Taylor*. Learn more about Taylor’s artistic process and the New York art world that spawned it.

Winters’ paintings, drawings, and prints have been featured in numerous exhibitions worldwide including two retrospectives at the Whitney Museum of American Art; his work is in such important collections as the Museum of Modern Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis
