Opening Reception Wall Works Peter Shire–The Walls Have Eyes

Enjoy the Wall Works public art project created by K-12 students in collaboration with artist Peter Shire and Echo Park Pottery.
Wall Works facilitates a dynamic public art project that connects acclaimed contemporary artists with the imaginations of local K-12 students. SMMoA provides participating classrooms with supplies and instruction and then invites the young artists to an opening celebrating their collaborative installation at the Museum.

On view October 27, 2011–February 26, 2012
